Since I meal plan every week, I figured I will start posting my meal plan here on Mondays, for our Monday-Friday meals. I love checking out meal plans on other people's blogs. It's nice to get fresh ideas!
Monday- Spiral ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans
Tuesday-Chili with ground beef and ground sausage (at D's request), hopefully corn muffins too!
Wednesday- Pork chops, rice, broccoli
Thursday-Jambalaya
Friday- Sloppy Joes and sweet potato fries

That sounds like a pretty good plan. I'd say that the jambalaya would be the one I'd look forward to the most, but we NEVER have sloppy joes. Mind if I drop in?
Here's as close as we'll get to meal planning:
One night we'll be having pasta... with or without meat, depending on who'll be there.
Some other night we'll make a pretty awesome salad. I'm going through a crunchy thing lately, so we have croutons AND almonds as toppers.
If we're feeling up to a lot of chopping, there are plenty of ingredients for a lovely stir-fry.
Most nights will be OYO (on your own), with a selection of leftovers, soups or sandwiches. Tonight was one of those nights.
By Friday morning, most all of the food will be gone, which I consider a success.
It amazes me that people who work have time to cook big meals every night. How do you do it? I need to learn to use my crockpot more.
BTW, can I come over for dinner?
Open invitation to dinner, anytime! :) Knowing what I am going to cook helps a lot (so I have everything ready to go), and I also utilize my crockpot a great deal.
