It's about time!

We have been without a computer for what feels like forever! Really, it's been two weeks since our computer crashed. D, wonderful husband that he is, took care of business and got things up and running. Since I last blogged:

-The Diva learned to independently zip her jacket.

-I have read some really great books. I read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. They both completely sucked me in. I am now desperate for the third and final book in the trilogy to come out, but it is going to be a while. I just started The Help today. So far, so good.

D and I had 20 consecutive hours of alone time last weekend. My aunt invited Diva for an overnight. We went out to dinner with friends, and saw Couples Retreat. It was funny, but a bit slow. It was nice to have some time alone, and get out and do something.

-My mom's first book was published! I am so proud of her!!! She has her very first book signing tomorrow! I am so happy! She truly is amazing, and how she wrote a book with a full time job, a family at home, and her own business (along with all the volunteering she does) is beyond me. If ever there was an example of a strong, creative, multi-tasking woman, it's my mom!

-The Diva has taken an interest in learning to read, and is taking off with it!

I will be posting more frequently from here on out! Hooray for technology!

Really... in the big scheme of things, WHAT is worse than computer problems?!? Like, uh nothin'... that's what. Ugh!

Sounds like you've been pretty busy, though. High five to the Diva. This morning I decided to introduce the concept of pulling up one's *own* pants to Mad. Did you hear me talking about it? 'Cuz I know she didn't, haha.

And WTG Diva's Mommy's Mommy! Best wishes on many sales. How fun to have a book signing!
